The Engineering HVAC Podcast is where mechanical engineers in the HVAC community come for education on the latest HVAC application and design concepts. We are excited to be using this convenient platform to give back, share our professional experience, and do our part to help educate the HVAC community.

Hi, I'm Tony Mormino, Insight’s marketing guy and the host of The Engineering HVAC Podcast.

In 2020, my boss, Mark Murray, president of Insight Partners, asked me about starting a podcast. My first thought was, who in the world would listen to an HVAC design and application podcast?

I didn't think the juice was worth the squeeze.

 
Then one day, I heard a rumor that one of our competitors was starting a podcast. I just could not let them beat us to the punch. So, begrudgingly, I set out to launch as soon as possible.

When we launched in February of 2021, I was slightly taken aback. Our customers were actually downloading and listening to us! Fast forward to today: we receive an average of 25 downloads per day, and that number is growing.
 

It goes to show you what I know.

I started in the HVAC industry in 1997 after obtaining my engineering degree from the University of Florida. I've worked as an account executive, sales manager, and rep firm owner. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work with many talented people. I've learned so much and continue to learn on a daily basis.

Since early 2021, I've enjoyed my position as Technical Sales and Marketing Director for Insight Partners, allowing me to share my HVAC application and design experience.

With the support of our leadership team, vendor partners, customers, and all of the folks I work with here at Insight, this has been a true joy.
